It all began in 2020 when Joost, tired of carrying his kids the hard way, improvised a simple hip carrier from a surf strap for his son, Willem. He reached out to his good friend Britt, who often carried her daughter in a shopping bag. That conversation sparked a magical moment and marked the beginning of a long journey of product development.
Five years later, we’ve evolved from our very first Brown Leopard carrier into a global brand. Our how-to videos went viral, and we’ve become beloved by parents, creators, and families from Canada to Japan, and from the Nordics to South Africa. With millions of rides and over 300,000 happy parents along the way, our impact has been immense.
